Total driven: 2719 km
We were at the ferry terminal at 9 am, we did not shove off until 11:45 am. They are very organized in getting cars and trucks into the ferry. After that we just sat and read, walk a bit on the deck and waited. We arrived to Port aux Basques in Newfoundland at 6:30 but it was over half an hour before we could drive out of the MS Highlnder.
The hotel is just a few meters from the dock and everyone of the ship was checking in. We did go out for dinner. We found a nice little family restaurant a block away and had pan fried cod. It was really good.
